Today I share a picture of Norways largest spider. Myredderkopp, or in English Raft spider (Dolomedes fimbriatus). It actually catches and eats small frogs. Body length can be up to 25mm. Yes, it is true. to photograph spiders in Norway you need a macro lens.

It’s always nice when something unexpected shows up. On a trip on the hills outside Windhoek to photograph the sunset, these two tugs were sitting on the ground. Didn’t notice their mother around, but I’m sure she wasn’t far away.
